Time for a swim?

Well remember how earlier this week I told you that Brody went swimming for the first time? Isn't it adorable?
Not much to update - the rainy season has started in Ghana. So what does that mean? Well it means that a lot of the roads can get washed out, and it's a little more stickier than usual. BUT not the 100 degree temps, so at least it keeps it in the 80's. The season will stay for about 6 months.
I have good thoughts about that, and not so good. Good that the weather will be a little more on my side, not though because of the roads - it may impair some of the things I wanted to see.
All the Typhoid stuff is done - thank goodness :-) So next off - I'll get the Hep A&B combo - but not until mid June.
OH - we wrote to our Senator about the issues we've been having with our USCIS office, they of course passed the buck to the Congresswoman. WELL - A worker for the Congresswoman called me on Friday! She said that once we get the paperwork we can get and send it back in that she'll just start calling every day checking on it. She was just as upset as we were that they sat on our file for 5 weeks and it took me going down there to see what they needed.....she thought that was ridiculous. Finally someone on our side. Scott also heard back from the former Ambassador that he worked under. He let us know that if we have problems getting the SW report, he will call down there - he is still friendly with the Mayor of Accra. So seems that we've got a few options here depending on how quickly Pastor Andrew can get the things out in Kosoa that we need. He leaves on Monday to try to retrieve the death decree and the form from Brody's birth mother.
So keep good thoughts going for all the Grosso's :-)
Thanks
Julz, Scott & Brody
